Heart Lake, Lake Placid, NY
The quiet. Aligned in a grace that overwhelms my senses. At peace. With the thought of a nature I may have never known. A world that exists beyond my awareness, though exists harmoniously, just the same. I feel safe. Taken care of. Trusting my source, if just for the moment. I pause to feel my existence. Immense. The very proof that I have been put in my place. Not mistaken. Small though significant as well. We are all God. I believe in this now as I watch the loons take their position and create a presence; dipping and ducking to a world beneath the surface of Heart Lake that illustrates their journey is unique. They draw us in though leave us to wonder. I am left in a magical fog tempted to mimic my new fascination while accepting a new freedom I am discovering within myself.
