Letting Universal Attraction Lead the Bear Mountain Hike, Sedona, AZ
God is an incredible artist! The way the colors blend and contrast looking out from this Sedona summit are unreal. There is no explanation. On the hike up to this peak at the top of the Bear Mountain trail we were challenged and awed. One of our games was to find letters in nature that spelled out and reflected words of wisdom like Joy and Courage. It was tough to decide whether or not to just let it all sink in or to stop to photograph a letter or capture the essence of our experience with the lens. Dominique found a question mark down on the trail formed out of a root. “Do you need a question mark?” she asked. “No Dom. I have no questions right now.” “Oh you have all the answers?” she kind of inquired. “No, Dom that‘s just it. Right now I don’t need answers. I trust that everything is exactly as it’s supposed to be”. And that is a beautiful place to surrender to. The power of nature creates this essence and it would be condemning our spirit to disallow what is being offered here. There is magic in this mental photograph of the ever changing landscape that I am in the midst of. Perhaps, it could be more accurately called cinematography. It is moving. I am moving. At the same time, I am still. My soul is at peace because the energy seeping out of the pores of the Universe is creating a balance. It is penetrating and guiding my every next move. I am allowing it and it is working for me. What I am attracting has changed because I have changed. I have allowed the power and impact of nature (certainly a power greater than me) to extract a deeper level of connection. My improved perception and choices have resulted in the creation of an unmatched experience.
